My Landmark Forum

Landmark ForumLast night was the end of the main portion of my Landmark Forum. I’m still processing a lot of what I experienced over the course of the 3 days, but I will say that it is one of the best things that I have ever done for myself. I would recommend The Landmark Forum to most anyone, as long as you are willing to go in with an open mind and are prepared to make real and positive changes in your life. I learned so much about myself and about the reasons and things that keep me from living a life that excites me every day, I can’t imagine anyone that would not benefit from taking this course.

When I arrived on the first day, I was a bit nervous as were many of the other people. I didn’t really know what to expect, since most people can’t give a good explanation of what it is that they experience during The Landmark Forum. Even now, I don’t have a good way to explain the entire weekend. There are so many different ideas and possibilities that come out of the weekend, you truly have to experience it.

By the end of the weekend, I had made several friends and shared a lot of my life with these people. I participated often throughout the weekend and by the end of Sunday I was feeling very peaceful and calm.

I had many breakthroughs during my Landmark Forum, the biggest being when I finally accepted my childhood and stopped blaming my father for things that happened in my life. To be able to say “my father did the best job that he could, my father did what he knew how to do”, and to really know that fact - in that moment I felt so free. I had been blaming him my entire life, thinking “I’m right. He’s wrong.” - but it really doesn’t matter if I’m right. He is who he is. I can walk around for the rest of my life and be angry at him, or I can accept him for who he is and be free to live my life without using him as an excuse or to seek pitty for myself.

There are a lot of ideas and realizations still coming and going through my brain. I’m sure I will be writing about this for a long time into the future. If you have anything to add to this conversation, please leave a comment and I will be sure to respond.

You noted new possibilities coming your way, now I understand. Me and my man are “Master Grads” from Rapport Leadership International, (rapportleadership.com). Over 100 hours of these courses is the reason I was able to quit my job just over a year ago and FINALLY BECOME ME! I wish you the best!

Rhonda - I hadn’t heard of Rapport Leadership. From first glance, it looks a lot like Landmark. Whatever floats your boat, it’s great that you willing to take charge of your life and bring about positive changes. You’re creating something wonderful for yourself.
