Law of Attraction and Financial Abundance
For several years I have been complaining about the state of my finances. I will complain about my lack of money, and then I look around and I am not doing the things that I need to do to bring more money into my life. I haven’t been taking the steps necessary to create financial abundance, yet I somehow expect that I will wake up someday and find my pockets full of money.
Looking from The Law of Attraction, if you want to create financial abundance, you need to act accordingly. Often times I will have a very productive month, where I will bring in a good amount of money. I reach a point where I am about to have a real breakthrough with my finances, but then I look around and think “This isn’t working” - and according to The Secret and The Law of Attraction, The Universe says “Your wish is my command” - and gives me more of the same thing that I’ve always had.
In reality what happens is that I lose my desire to continue working. I have worked hard every day for a month, and I feel like I don’t have anything to show for it, so I give up. Eventually I build up the motivation again, but I’ve lost the momentum that I had during the previous month, so I’ve got to start from the beginning again. Whether you look at it as The Law of Attraction, or my simple action / reaction, you can see how I never really get head above water.
Instead of looking around and complaining about all the things that I don’t have, or all the things that I can’t afford, I need to stay focused on the positives. I need to be thankful for the things that I do have. Yes I really want a laptop, but I am thankful that I have this desktop computer and that I have the luxury of working from home. Yes I really want an iPhone, but I am thankful that I have my current phone and it works for what I need. When I’ve worked hard for a month straight, I need to keep looking ahead and living into my future. Every time that I abandon my goals, I make things harder for myself.
I am at a great place in my life right now. I just moved in to a new apartment with my girlfriend, and I am setup where I can create real financial abundance this month. I will be receiving my deposit check from old apartment, I have plenty of work lined up, and one of my clients has begun referring me for several new projects. I have also found enjoyment in working on this blog and have several ideas for new blogs and projects that I can use to generate passive income for myself. Living in this environment will let me dedicate more time to my work and to my future.

So true… so true Chris. I have to admit that at times, I myself get to a place where I have the cash rolling in and then I think that it is not enough so I have to start over, just like you say you do.
Keeping the momentum going is a challenge and a challenge that I welcome as it makes me grateful for the things I already have.
I love reading your posts as it keeps me on track too.

Ange - I’m glad my posts can help keep you on track. I know that I will often read someone else’s blog or see a video and that jump starts my inspiration a bit too.
